I’m going to be the opinion of negativity here. I dint think cheptegei will ever rise to his previous levels after that recent marathon. I hope I’m wrong, but I think he’s done unrepairable damage to his body.

Bekele didn't have supershoes, drugs or wave lights to help him run 26:17. He would be well under 26 minutes if he did, maybe 25:3x depending how he would of responded if giving all these modern performance enhancers in the mid 2000's
