I’m thrilled for Hiltz. Sorry but those who complain about the hate towards other runners and don’t understand the animosity towards one or two, Nikki has had the most hate out of anyone. we should be happy we have an incredible standout representing USA. Get over yourselves with the pronouns.

Congratulations to her, but how about some honest criticism: She has not demonstrated the engine to run at sustained world class speeds, so the thing she's really good at, finishing speed, doesn't get to show on the bigger dance floor. I believe that if St Pierre had run the 1500m today, she would have throttled the pace, and Hiltz' chances to make the team would have been a coin flip. Hope she finds another gear and proves this wrong, but she hasn't shown it yet.

honestly I find nothing likeable to root for, when I see Hiltz... that is just my opinion but IMO seems very unlikeable
What’s unlikeable about Nikki, bro? Did you watch the race? Nikki ran smart and poised, took control of the race at an opportune moment, and then fought hard to hold off a challenger on the last lap.
In the interview after the race, Nikki came across as engaging, articulate, and down to Earth. What’s not to like?

I find it very unlikeable that she advocates for biological males being allowed to compete against biological females at all levels except the level she is at, of course.
You dislike someone just because of a difference of opinion? That’s pretty harsh, bro.
I don’t think that’s harsh at all. Pretty normal, actually.
I have lots of friends with whom I have differences of opinion. I think it’d be pretty boring if all my friends thought the same way I do about everything. What happens if you have a friend and you discover something that you disagree on? Do you end the friendship?
