According to Biden’s story, Corn Pop was a local gang leader. “Corn Pop was a bad dude. He ran a bunch of bad boys,” he says. One day Corn Pop was sitting on the diving board – where he shouldn’t have been – and wearing a bathing cap to protect the pomade in his hair. Joe Biden continues the tale. “I said, ‘Hey Esther [as in Williams, the synchronised swimmer and Hollywood starlet], you, off the board. I’ll come up and drag you off.’” Corn Pop allegedly responded by saying: “I’ll meet you outside”. At the end of his shift, Biden went out to his car and saw Corn Pop “waiting there for [me] with three guys and straight razors.”
How does the story end? On the advice of the pool maintenance guy, Biden allegedly met Corn Pop with a six-foot length of chain wrapped round his forearm. He met him face to face and said: “First of all, when I tell you to get off the board you get off the board, and I’ll kick you out again, but I shouldn’t have called you Esther Williams. I apologise for that.” And that, he says, was that. Corn Pop put his razor away and they became friends. The story has done the rounds several times.
That Biden is one bad dude.

If there’s solid evidence, someone who commits crimes should face penalties. That’s our system of laws.
as someone on X said, “I don’t care if they lock up Hunter Biden for any crime they can prove, because his father isn’t my cult leader.”
Agreed. The justice system is pretty darn good in this country. Some flaws exist such as being slow and the rich often getting off easy, but largely it is fair. In many countries, that is not the case.
Can someone explain to me why Republicans don't want a public trial?
sure, the public hearing each member is limited to 5 minutes of questioning. in the closed hearing there is more time devoted to the questioning. FYI- both parties normally do it this way.
Fulton County Judge Scott McAfee, who is presiding over the Georgia 2020 election subversion case, was highly skeptical Wednesday of Fulton Attorney Fani Willis' proposed October trial for former President Donald Trump and hi...
In terms of how I will vote in the 2024 election, this is a big nothing-burger. It has been public knowledge for a long time that Hunter Biden has done a lot of shady stuff, but there sure doesn't seem to be any evidence that Joe Biden participated in it, and there isn't any real evidence that Joe Biden has used his position to shield Hunter from legal consequences (though it seems likely that some people within the system may have been hesitant to prosecute based on who Hunter's dad is - but that is different from Joe Biden acting to prevent it).
Now, if verifiable evidence emerges that Joe Biden substantively benefitted from any of Hunter's misdeeds, or he planned any of them, or he strong-armed officials to not prosecute, that would alter my opinion of Joe's fitness for office.
On the other hand, this prosecution does increase my regard for the current Justice Department. If they are willing to prosecute the son of the current head of the executive branch, it sure does pour cold water on the notion that their decisions of whether to prosecute or not are based on politics...
What you're seeing is apathy. Nobody cares anymore. It's a good sign for sane people. It's a bad sign for people like you.
You think you're one of the sane people yet your guy is losing in all of the polls despite our being in year 8 of a 24/7 media campaign attacking his opponent.
