New to all these running shoes stuffs. I tried reading the FAQ but I have no idea if I fall under.
“I am a new runner who is looking to do up-tempo/fast-paced runs”
“I am a new runner who is looking to do medium - long runs.”
I am replacing my 2900+km Zoom Fly 5. I typically use it for daily training which includes running distance 10km 3 times, 21.1km 2 times and 30+km (if I am training for a marathon, else 21.1km again) 1 time in a week. My pace range from 4:00-4:40 per km depending on how I feel.
Do I belong under medium to long run? Slow or fast pace?
I am looking into ASICS Novablast 3 and NB Fuelcell Propel v4 now.
Also this might sound silly but is it worth it to invest in a good training shoe instead of just a good racing shoe? I always have the feeling of if I get a good training shoes, it gets too easy that you are training lesser. I should only focus on a shoe that help in reducing injury. Is this the incorrect mindset?
