Kenzie Doyle of UMass Lowell has to be the most improved NCAA female over the last 4 years. She ran 15:27 at BU last night.
- She never ran at a national meet in high school for track or XC.
- Best result in 2020 was a 5:22 mile & 10:43 for 3k.
- Then 81st place at 2021 Northeast XC regional. 2022 indoor season she ran 5:00 / 9:49 / 16:57, and outdoor 2022 runs 35:01 for 10k
- Fall 2022 finishes 4th at Northeast XC regional, finishes 85th at NCAAs
- 2023 track season lowers her PRs to 4:44 / 9:14 / 16:00 / 33:25. Finishes 7th at NCAA east regional 10k, and then 17th at NCAAs in the 10k
- Fall 2023 redshirts XC season, then runs 15:27 for 5k at the BU season opener.
Her Strava shows that she held 90 MPW since July 2023 with most of it under 7:00 pace. Training is impressive and incredibly consistent.
