Nice to see Schweizer back out there winning. I bet she makes the team, not sure if it will be 5k or 10k... sounds like she is racing a 5k soon, where she needs the standard.
She has a little ways to go fitness wise, blew up at the end 48.8/65.6/66.1/68.05
I watched the race and am confused by the pacing. They had pacers and lights. It looks like she was on target with the green lights at the end. Did the lights show down a lot ir something? What pace were they trying to get here? It's not even the auto q for the trials.
Schweizer was on crutches in November following surgery. She's now got a 10K and a 1500 under her belt this spring. She is a mentally tough competitor who I expect to see in Paris this summer.
