The 127th Boston is roughly 12 hours away and this will be our official thread.
What: 127th Boston Marathon
Start Time: Monday, April 17, 2028. The elite men start at 9:37 am eastern and the elite women start at 9:47 a.m. ET. For the second time every and second straight year, the elite men are starting before the elite women.
Where: Hopkinton to Boston, Massachusetts
How to watch: ESPN network from 8:30-1pm (yes 4.5 hours!) and WCVB in Boston + sisters stations WMUR (Manchester, NH), WMTW (Portland/Auburn, ME), and WPTZ (Burlington, VT/Plattsburgh, NY).

Weather is showing about a 9mph headwind and about 50% chance of rain.

No course record. Kipchoge better be ready for a race after the Newton Hills.

Love this, thanks for sharing.

I think Eliud will look a little funny, maybe even slower without the classic, solid white NN singlet. Also not used to him sporting the #2 bib 😅

Just saw CJ in the lobby, he said he did a 15 mile shakeout this morning and he's ready to rock.

Currently at BC watching the crazies prep for their party.

49°F. Zero wind. Low, dense ceiling, rain probability below 15%. Looks to be a good, not great, weather day.

You sure about that bro? All weather casts show 10-12 mph headwind fir the entire duration of the race. Nit a hurricane, but still significant.
