What: 127th Boston Marathon
When: Monday, April 17, 2022. The first wheelchair race goes off at 9:02 am eastern. The elite men start at 9:37 am eastern and the elite women start at 9:47 a.m. ET. More start times here.
Where: Hopkinton to Boston, Massachusetts
How to watch:
United States: In the United States, the race will be broadcast live nationwide on ESPN from 8:30am-1pm eastern and streamed on its ESPN app. That is the best and easiest way to watch outside of New England.
In Boston: WCVB will broadcast the race beginning at 4:00 a.m. ET through 8:00 p.m. ET. That is nuts! The race will be exclusively simulcast regionally on WCVB Channel 5’s Hearst Television owned sister-stations WMUR (Manchester, NH), WMTW (Portland/Auburn, ME), and WPTZ (Burlington, VT/Plattsburgh, NY
