You can thank us later (if you win) for Bovada putting a line on the race. If you lose, that's your fault.
Right now Kipchoge is even money which we think is a really good bet. The odds should change quickly

My advice is only gamble money you won’t miss if you lose. Also Kipchoge is not a sure thing. Be careful folks.
Gambling is a vice. Grambling is a college in Louisiana.
"Oh, Susanna" is a minstrel song by Stephen Foster. Gloucester is a city in Massachusetts. Neo-Luddism is the antidote for technological madness and the dive into the abyss.
Kipchoge isn't choking this one. He is here to collect the titles like Thanos collected the stones.
Eliud doesn’t have to choke to lose. I am not sure if you are familiar with the marathon.
So what will happen after Kipchoge wins and set course record for all 6 marathon majors and snap his fingers?
Eliud cannot lose. Eliud cannot lose. Eliud cannot lose. Until he loses. And he will. It is only a matter of time. Maybe Monday. Nobody knows.
The sports shrinks in half because everyone realizes they aren't HIM.
You know who loves even money? This guy right here. Max bet for that site for this race is 125 though. Amateur hour. Find any other place who's offering Boston betting if you want to make a real investment.
The max bet for me was $60, lame
im no gambling man, but this is free money.
I’m more worried about being able to withdraw than about kipchoge
That's why I've always laughed at the notion that sports are fixed, especially obscure sports. The betting limits are laughable. There's no way anyone would fix something to collect crumbs.
Likewise with NFL props. Those limits are a joke. The sportsbooks are absolutely terrified to hang numbers on anything for high dollar amount when they don't have several sets of mathematical power ratings to blend together toward consensus number.
For some reason not many people who have worked in sportsbooks have ever posted on sports forums. If you have worked in the field then you realize it's not sophisticated at all. Total disconnect between reputation and reality. But many people who have worked in the business aren't willing to be honest about it. They want to protect the myth, so their friends will be wowed and hang on every word.
Those are actually pretty good odds. Kipchoge’s real first test on a hilly course. A lot of things can happen on race day, although it seems bad stuff never happens to him.
I’d probably still put my money on Kipchoge with even odds.
You guys are such dorks. I started this thread topic. You went in and edited it. Then started your own thread. This is after someone had already started the Boston prediction thread, then Rojo decided to swoop in and start his own.
NY resident here, and never used an online sports betting platform but this caught my attention.
Observation:
- can't access bovada.lv from NY b/c it is blocked. Can use VPN to get around it.
Question:
- can't use my real zip code to create account. Can I just enter a zip code for a state where it isn't blocked?
Are there easier ways around the fact that this is blocked in NY?
If you’re in NYC, drive to New Jersey
Gambling, Las Vegas, Instagram, Facebook, Hollywood movies and American TV (not only American in this case though) are for morons...
Or he’ll stop competing before he loses, since he only races twice per year
I have inside information that Bekele is en route to Boston to shut this down.
thanks for the thought. NJ is apparently blocked as well (NY, NJ, DE, MD, and NV are blocked for whatever reason).
But I can vpn to any location I want so that's not the question - my question is that when I create an account I have to enter an address. I'm new to online gambling, so I'm unsure if lying about my address matters at all. Like when I go to withdraw the money (or pay the debt) - does my bank account have to get verified via a real address or can I just put it a fake address and it'll all work out.
Try Connecticut then.
I have friends who used an online one and paid exclusively in bitcoin, but it was somewhat reputable (not Bovada but one you’ve heard of). If you can cash out exclusively in crypto, that’s good
