2023 Boston Marathon

The 2022 Boston marathon will feature a RECORD 5 sub-2:18 women and 16 sub-2:21 women on its start line.

A super Boston field just got even more super. Tanzania's Gabriel Geay (2:03:00) and Brazil's Daniel Do Nascimento (2:04:51) also join a field that already included Eliud Kipchoge, Evans Chebet, and Benson Kipruto.

Kipchoge also said he "can't wait" to run his first hilly marathon but that he won't change his training to get ready for the hills.

For the 1st time in his life, Kipchoge will run a hilly marathon in April. It will be his first US marathon in 3,109 days, since 2014 Chicago.
