This is a good list. If we picked based on both high school results and what they accomplished after graduation, Joan Nesbit Mabe, Karen Godlock and Elly Henes would also merit consideration.
Charles Millioen took 4th behind Ritz, Hall, and Webb, which I would classify as more impressive than Murdock, although Murdock was a fantastic runner and certainly top 7 from NY. I do think Marty Beauchamp and Luis Ostolozaga could be up there too.

I stand corrected. Trautmann was 2nd at FLNats in 1984, as a Junior. 15th the following year.
