It's certainly worth pointing out that neither Hillary Bor or Sara Hall won the races outright. Uganda's Sarah Chelangat won the women's race in 52:04 while Ethiopia's Tsegay Kidanu won the men's in 46:08, but neither of them broke 52 or 46 which had bonus money attached to it.
So I think Bor will win all of the $50,000 bonus pool.
And in the past, lots of poeple have said US prize purses are racist. Kind of funny. Yet another example of systemic racism in this country, I mean American privilege.
I really hope one day one of these people sue the pants off of you for making statements like this. You’re a fairly well respected poster here. Shame on you.

David Monti is onsite and we will be publishing his recap soon.
It was very windy for the race this morning. Many people ran 30-60 seconds slower than they hoped - Bor would have easily run 45 high in better conditions.
Check out the splits - the 2nd 5K (the part with the wind) was 4:30 pace (he averaged 4:38 overall)
Sarah Chelangat from Uganda and Tsegay Kidanu from Ethiopia won the Elite races at the Cherry Blossom 10 Mile. Sara Hall and Sara Hall were crowned US champions.

Half of the internet would have to be sued.

That doesn’t make it ok. You’re just being part of the problem. Super weak, Alan. Really disappointed in you.
