There's been a lot of talk about low mileage runners (Valby, Cook, Cade Flatt, etc.) with a focus on how little they run but often these weeks are heavily supplemented with cross training and are probably a lot of work overall. I'm curious to discuss runners who truly did just cruise in training and just did enough to get to where they wanted. I remember reading in an old thread somewhere that Doug Padilla did what sounded like very easy training for a 13 low guy, with some workouts being literally 2x 800 without going all that fast. Curious about other examples or if someone knows anyone who's reached a higher level training even easier?
