Hey guys, I recently got covid 19, I practiced for 1 day while symptomatic as you don’t realize how sick you’re about to be at 7:00 AM driving to the track. I got really bad muscle spasms in my calves and quads all of practice, and then started getting a fever that day.
Now a week and a half later I’m no longer sick, but still am getting spasms and cramping in all of my leg muscles up through my abs and it’s hurting my ability to run because I’m getting very sore. This only happens when I workout, even if it’s super easy (think 3-4 miles at 8:30 pace when my typical easy day training load would be 8-12 miles at 6:50-7:30 pace)
Is there any correlation between this and covid, or do I have something else going on? I can’t seem to find any literature that supports the two.
