Good to see that she's learned to race. In high school I thought she always went out way too fast and sometimes barely held on. Awesome to see her back on top, running strong and smart!

Valby ran great; I'm always impressed when people go out and do what they need to do to win it, even if they don't pull it off. Both she and KT ran the races that were right for them.

New Mexico having 5 All Americans and still not being that close to NC State shows that you really cant win without 1-2 in the top 10 and 2-3 in the top 20. Most years the team with the best #3 is the team that wins.

Tuohy ran smart and controlled. Not sure what was risky about it at all. She blew by Valby which is what you want to do. She gave no help/pacing assistance. If she tailed her, you’ll see on occasion runners who by their own telling don’t have a kick find something .
