London is notorious for listing injured athletes that are willing to play the charade with the press only to pull out in the last week.

Please don't tell me you are calling London weak? London is the Super Bowl of marathons year in and year out.

I think at the end of the year, we should rank all of the marathons on the quality of their elite fields. And not just go six deep. Maybe ten deep so we include the Rotterdams, Dubai's, Valencias, Abu Dhabi's, Amsterdam's, etc.

We just realized that Chicago also added in Paris CR holder Elisha Rotich (2:04:21 pb). He was just listed at the end of the release with no time so we missed him. Why they wouldn't highlight his addition is beyond our comprehension. Rotich hasn't raced in 2022 but he set th Paris CR in his last race.
