What the top boys NW teams can do to autoqualify for NXN:
Jesuit - Nenow needs to finish high at NXN, clevenger needs to have a good race, and their 3/4 need to work together and finish as high as possible. One of the guys new to varsity - Strub or Wroblenski (or Strong) needs to close the gap on those guys. If they can do that, not only are they hard to beat here, but they could also finish 1 spot higher at nationals this year than last year, assuming that the other Jesuit (from LA) decides to go to RunningLane.
Crater - Gorze obviously needs to win, and Tostenson needs to finish as close to him as possible, and their 3-6 pack needs to stay together and finish well.
Rocky Mountain - Heemeyer needs to finish near the front, and Sainsbury needs to finish close behind him. Maybe Hill can finish close to them like last year at RunningLane?
Also, Keith U and Lucas need to finish as well as possible, maybe close to Hill, wherever Hill finishes.
Eastlake - this is a darkhorse team that almost beat Jesuit when they first met - their top 2 need to keep doing what they’re doing and getting better, their 3/4 need to race as well as possible (most certainly not like they did at Hole in the Wall, they did better a week prior to this), and most importantly, their 5th needs to step up and close the gap on their 4th. Go freshman!
If all 4 of these teams finish close together, they COULD all qualify for NXN, and finish high there if they all do what they did at NXR
