Won the Dassel-Cokato Invitational last night.. undefeated
Abbey Nechanicky is #3. Not sure how Sadie Engelhardt was only #7 before this.
Anyways, this year it seems like it’s anyone’s game to win nationals on the girls side. A national title isn’t out of reach for Nechanicky.
Breker #11.
Thank you, just saw that. He has had some close races, probably why coaches ranked him worse, not that I agree with it. Looks like he ran 11 seconds faster than last year at sections on same course.
It’s crazy how stiff the competition for the top 10 will be in the boys AAA race this year. Even though Provenzano left. Imagine how much tougher it would be if he was still here.
Some people who got top 10 last year (or the year before) could possibly not get top 10 this year. This happened to many people. Like Minor and Haugland from MPLS Washburn getting top 10 junior year but not senior year.
Last year the senior class didn’t seem to be outstanding compared to the years past.
Side note: I’m sure that Provenzano likes it at Carmel because if he still went to Hopkins, he wouldn’t have made it to NXN this year. Hopkins this year is absolutely nothing like Hopkins in 2015.
Carmel could even be going for a podium spot at NXN this year. They were moved to #3 in the nation in the Milesplit rankings, and one of the podium contenders (Jesuit LA) chose to do RunningLane instead of NXN (although this could change), which will give more room for other teams to make podium.
Carmel and Jesuit will actually be facing off this weekend, along with some of the other best teams in the Midwest.
Has anyone ever broken 15 minutes like Breker did at Gale Woods?
Looks like he is the first one that broke it at gale woods.
here you can find a list of everyone who went to a MN high school that ever broke 15 minutes in any 5k XC race
Murray County Central Invite 2022:
Overgaauw sisters go 1-2.
MCC dominates on the girls side.
Worthington wins on the boys side. They were missing their #4. Their 5th needs to step up for this team to get an AA state title.

Mankato East boys team wins, and their whole team is coming back next year.

Girls dominate and everyone is back next year.
Two rivers wins. Lakeville South got second but they left out all of their varsity seniors. Crazy how good they still are and will be next year. They could challenge for a conference title next year with Lakeville North and Rosemount losing so many seniors.
Farmington boys team has a nice returning squad for next year and could go for a state qualifying spot considering next year’s whole Lakeville North varsity team will be brand new.
Two Rivers won and brings almost everyone back.

EP has a solid 1-4 but their 5th man Derouin (or last year’s state qualifier Doolittle) will probably need to close that gap come sections and state.
Boys Green 5k:
Wayzata had 2 8th graders leading. Their #3 guy (soph) from that race is the younger brother of one of their varsity guys. These 3 could be good scorers the year after class of 2024 graduates.
Anyone else think the Farmington course felt a bit short?
Better link for Mignone’s signing to college
Rock Ridge wins this race. And they were missing Stocke and the Kendall brothers.

Bemidji was missing one of their top 4.
Nice! Good for her!
If they still use the same course as they used to, it is fast, but not short.
The results for the race disappeared and that website is hot garbage.
Norwalk graduated nobody, which makes it unsurprising that they won.
