FOR ANYONE COMING TO THIS THREAD IM REFERENCING THE RELAY AND HIS CONSISTENCY SPLITTING 43 SECONDS THIS SEASON DAMN! I thought the initial post made it clear but its alot of remedial people commenting tonight
Right there with....Ron Freeman, Maurice Peoples, Jeremy Wariner, Michael Johnson, Michael Norman, Quincy Watts with a sub 43.3 split.
All, i believe, were set at world championships or Olympics except People's converted (in Baton Rouge) and Wariner's 2nd time (in Austin). Only 2 under 43 - Johnson and Wariner's faster one.

Norman's split was at the NCAA West prelims.
Yeah - my list didn't even include Norman's relay split. But, I know he ran 43.06.
Texas men’s were projected to placed 2nd. Yes! They could have done better but I am still very impressed with Texas 1st & 2nd in the 2022 Champs season. Texas women’s will win today!!!
I hope Jonathan Jones comes back next season to help Texas to continue to be successful on the track. Texas would’ve placed top 2 last night with a better 3rd leg because JJ ran the hell out of that anchor leg.

I did the math and its possible the Triple Jump and 800 is the event that can turn the tide.
Quartermiler- You’re right! I’m hoping that Valerie Tobias and Ackelia Smith surprises us with a first places. I’m so proud of the ladies in the 4x100. I hope the momentum catch fire to all Texas athletes.
