I knew she was taking PEDs from the enormous and sudden performance jump she had over just a few months when she was getting desperate and looking for jobs at Starbucks to take my latte order.
Adderall is a form of meth, like what drug addicts like to buy. It is a very powerful stimulant that helps greatly with weight-loss and increased endurance and power. I class this in the same league as getting a TUE for EPO.

Ok so stimulants are illegal in competition UNLESS you admit you are taking stimulants and get permission to take said stimulants.

That pretty much sums it up. It's admirable to take amphetamines as long as you're "transparent".
I wasn't allowed to take cold medicine before my races in college but I guess taking full on Adderall is all cool now. Because of "transparency"

She was almost certainly taking Adderall before this, now just wants to do it without the risk of getting caught.
I am wondering in what way is Adderall a med for mental health? What is Seidel referring to? ADHD is not a mental illness. It's a condition.
You really think she wants this for mental health? If you really want to improve your mental health, taking any kind of amphetamine should be a last resort option.

You are very naiive if you think this is the only PED she is on or even the first time she's used the Adderall/meth.
Have you ever taken adderall consistently? It's absolutely NOT a performance enhancer - I feel totally breathless and like my heart is pounding outside of my chest when I run on it and the days after. It's a very similar feeling to cocaine heart. I seriously doubt she could continue to perform at a high level while taking this. Don't even get me started on the lack of sleep she's about to get lol

I applaud the transparent but agree that in competition TUEs should not be a thing. If you are on medication that can be performance enhancing you just can't race. No different than being on prescription opioids and not being alowed to operate heavy machinery.
I agree that health should be prioritized but that means you sit it out.

2. Adderall would not have the same stimulant effect on her that it would have on someone without ADHD. It would have a calming effect on her. No unfair advantage there.
