I've been gone this weekend and didn't check the world famous message board but I don't see anything updated of Withrow not running Saturday.
Anyone know, or even just guesses.
My opinion if they sat him out on purpose I think he won't do as well as I thought before. I considered him a favorite now I put him around 10th. Which is still great but below what the man is capable.
We're keeping it quiet, but Withrow has a stress fracture. No NCs for him this year.

He'll run. He may have some type of injury, but it won't keep him out of Nats. They were basically a lock to win/advance out of their regional with or without Withrow. They wanted to make sure they'd have him for Monday.
Stuart Eagen didnt run either. I am guessing they felt 2 10k's in 9 days is to much for there young guys.
