Who measured the course and marked it with blue paint? What method did you use?

It was reverse engineered.
I need pictures or video of the Runninglane 2020 (not 2021) finish line as seen from the perspective of someone approaching the finish on the course. I am talking about the black inflatable finish gate. If you were in the crowd just before the finish and took any images of the 2020 finish gate, then I would like to see them. Especially if you were on the LEFT side as approaching the finish gate.
Its a very specific request for a very good reason.
If you don't tell people why, they will be nervous to give you anything.
And the course is accurate. I was there both years. I ran the course each day and had kids run it twice also.
Obviously I'm trying to determine how long the course was, which is the whole point of this thread. I am not sure why anyone would be nervous about showing pictures of a finish line. Its just bad luck that I can't find any online with the right perspective. Finding the right images for 2021 wasn't too hard.

Pics?
The timing mat was in the exact same place it has been at for every cross country meet if that's what you are getting at.

Yep. That's what I'm getting at, but how do you know? I have reason to believe it was moved in 2021, but the partial video evidence I have so far indicates its in the same general area. Give me a reason to upgrade that to "pretty damn close" so I can check this box and move on. We're no looking for perfection, because pics can't give us that.
The entire course has underground tags.
Because I'm pretty familiar with the course, and have been a spectator there for at least 8 meets at this point. Its a 5k, but go on with your "research".

"Geodetic datum points" is what they are called. And yes, I know that. But like I said, I have reasons to believe the finish was moved for the 2021 Runninglane race. I also have reasons to believe it wasn't. I need to confirm it either way and the only way to do that now is with images of the 2020 finish line. In particular, any images with the finish gate and the two trees behind it off to the right in the same frame.

Great! You just added valuable information to my "research". Please list the other 6 races you saw at Hunt where the finish line was in the same place. I did not know that was true for all races. I don't necessarily need the placement of the finish for Runninglane 2020, although that would be the best, I just need to know if the 2021 finish changed from the default location, which you tell me should be the same for the other races as well. That gives me a lot more video and pics to search. Thanks!
I want to encourage anyone else who thinks they already know the course is 5k and that I'm wasting my time to come on here and take your best shot at me. I can filter out the BS and make use of the good stuff. So please bring it on, especially those who have been there many times.
You can search the race calendars just as well as I can. Do your own work.
... and I still want to know who measured the course and marked it with blue paint. Why do that and then keep quiet about it?
How could you not know that the finish and start are permanent? This course is dedicated just like Terre Haute or Wisconsin. It is not a Park or whatever you are thinking.
Because there is a 1% chance the guy is reading this.

But then I lose the first person knowledge that you provide for each race. You vouched for the finish line for those races and I don't know which races you saw. So I ask again, which races did you see?
I like the "do your own work" line. You have no idea. That one's gonna come back to bite you in a big way when its my turn to say it.
You can't figure out which races were held at John Hunt over the last 2 years? Wow. Some detective.

Because I have reason to believe it changed for RL 2021 and I need to confirm it didn't. At this point I don't believe it changed, but I don't mistake my "beliefs" for "knowledge", so I press on until I know. Don't worry, I'll check this box soon and go quiet again.
