Yes, terms like “chunky,” “solid,” “stout,” and, heaven forbid, “overweight” are clearly out of bounds.
What about pudgy?

I'll be running with one of these bad boys. £1.6 instead of £50++ entry fee (+ballot luck).
Wish me luck.

I really hope this guy got caught. I reported his posts to the London Marathon right after he posted them. They responded that they had several levels of security in place to derail such attempts. Hopefully he was caught, banned for life from London, and be required to (1) pay the full entrance fees for the race and (2) face charges for fraud since he made fake numbers.
"Pudgy" and all its synonyms are clearly banned. But so are "thin," "very thin," "lost muscle tone," and similar descriptors. Please take note!!
just say what you want. there will always be some pvssies who complain. ignore them.

So the guy LetsRun called an "afterthought" won this morning? Nice.
Fake news. Jonathan Gault called him that - not letsrun.
But he wasnt far off. Perhaps he should have said "almost an afterhought."
I talked about this in our recacp. The dude has started 21 marathons and never won a major. O for 13 in majors counting Dubai.
But on the flip side, has now made the podium of three of the last four majors: never been done before
6. KITATA, Shura (ETH) 02:07:51
7. SESEMANN, Philip (GBR) 02:12:58
Anyone notice anything? Anyone care?

Africans can run under 2:08 on a bad leg but Britain's can't!

Lol can we not say "fake news" anymore? Also you employ him & he works for LetsRun but, what, he doesn't speak for the website? Everybody is an individual, or whatever.

The men of Letsrun (Rojo -- can I say this is a Letsrun problem???) seem really triggered that they can't just talk about a woman's weight in an offensive way. Grow up & reconsider if you're torn up that it's not fair game to talk like this.

A hot take, if anything. Evans Chebet wins in an unpredecented 'slow' time of 2:04:07. Here's my full predictions: Evans Chebet: 2:04:07
Mosinet Geremew 2:04:32
Mule Wasihun 2:04:42
Sisay Lemma 2:04:44
Birhanu Legese 2:04:46
Titus Ekiru 2:04:54
Vincent Kipchumba 2:06:01
Shura Kitata 2:06:07
Kinde Atanaw 2:06:34
Tristan Woodfine 2:11:07
This was a great time prediction for the leaders, if not the names.
The following makes me question the accuracy of a lot of Letsrun articles. From the Letsrun London recap - QT on Sesemann:
"The 3:40/7:51/13:45/28:26 (road) Brit turned 28 today" - Wrong, he's 29, 5k 13:39, 10k 28:24.
" Coming into this one, he’d only run one half marathon in his life – 65:18 three weeks ago" - Wrong, he ran 62:47 a few weeks ago at the Big Half.
"but like virtually everyone today, he slowed on the way home as the wind was too much to handle. "- The commentators at the start even said there was not a breath of wind.

There was wind, not bad but about 10-15mph,which in the second half running along the embankment started hitting a headwind a bit esp as that's when we were more spread apart so had an impact.

Flotrack? That sucks.
I wonder why Ekiru was overrated. Did it not matter to some that it was his first major?

Well his track record was pretty good, he had the WL, was "fresh", so why not ? Without his injury, who knows what he could have done ?
you're correct on the first three counts, but there was quite a gusty wind coming back from canary wharf, all the way down to westminster. I think everyone slowed down a bit there.
