3:36:31 for 2020. This year he went through the ascent in 2:06:44. Joe Gray's won the 2021 ascent in 2:12:38.
How many mortgage payments for first place?

Probably not even 1 full payment after expenses.

Really weak field again. Went out way too hard… can’t handle himself going downhill. Not a very impressive win at all.
2:06 is a stellar ascent. Wow.

Got to love some people, someone wins a race, weak field and not impressive. It’s like say, to be honest all colleague races are weak fields and ant winners yawn not impressive….
If someone does not turn up what do you do? Don’t bother running it yourself.
Strange bitter place let’s run is at time, we get it you are better than Seth, you don’t like Seth, you are jealous of Seth, even though you earn your living through running relate activities the thing you love to do as it’s not only your passive, hobby and job yet you find the time to comment on let’s run surely that’s beneath you right?
Yawn

From what I can tell, $2,000 for 1st place.
Keep turning that doorknob!
Yes, but it provides great content for his primary source of income, and the win helps solidify his relevance. It just helps push his platform forward! Another reason for someone to watch his channel, and that will help make those mortgage payments.

First to summit wins this race about 90% of the time***, so gunning for it is as good a strategy as any. Especially if you're a natural climber.
***that number's just a best estimate, but could easily be calculated from past results for anyone who's really interested
That 2:06 is a stunner.
PPM is not about "fields".
It's about you and the mountain.
Big, big win. He's more consistent than Matt Carpenter if you look at the results.
Good for him. Wonder what's next?
Road Marathon?

All true, and you have no quarrel with me. It might be nice to see him attack the downhill and pop a sub-3:30 once. (unless he already is and just completely lacks downhill game)
He did attempt an Oly Trials marathon qualifier (or two) for this last cycle and came up short, so I don't see a future on the roads for him.
Grow up you cretin.
