What, are the flags triggering?
What, are the flags triggering?
COVID
The 400 men got little ones on sticks..
But it is redundant theater at the trials because everyone that qualifies is from the US. No need to signify to anyone in the audience that the three qualifiers will represent the United States.
I got no problem with the miniature flags on sticks, or even big flags on poles being handed out or displayed or paraded around, but I find it distasteful when flags are used as wraps, capes, etc.
Just my opinion
Only time the flags matter are international competition, where medaling for your country means something.
Those qualifying for the Team always receive the small flags on sticks for their victory lap.
This year is no different than any other in that respect.

Didn't have enough time to get the new Macy Gray flags quilted.

This is correct, the OP has invented a fictional scenario to get offended about, that’s weird.

Many a Black soldier waved the flag in the Civil war,WW2,Korean war,Vietnam War;
and when the war ended,he got the finger.
You people and your flags. SMH
This article from 2016 has a photo of Jager with literally the same kind of post-qualifying flag they are handing out this year for those who qualify for the team.
Took literally 30 seconds on Google to find.

Quite common these days. Fabricate an injustice, get fired up, begin to believe the injustice actually took place, and thus create the hate that never existed in the first place.
All Team USA Qualifiers received LARGER flags this year and they all took victory laps greeted by much applause. You will be happy to know that flags are still allowed despite what your news outlet of choice tells you. Feel free to untrigger yourself.

Welcome to the new GOP. Where fictional scenarios are paraded around as facts.
Such as, flags at the Olympic Trials and election fraud.

At one time the USOC had someone from an organization like VFW come in to talk to the athletes about proper flag decorum (there is US Code on it). My take has been that people largely forget it and just do what everyone else has done. Although probably not Sam Kendricks.
I cannot say I recall seeing NBC coverage of it, but I might have been distracted.
a few “Huge Jean” disappears into the darkness devastated.

Correct.
Also, isn't it time the US removed the British red and white colony stripes from the flag? And even the entire Union Flag on the Hawai'i flag.
None
