I think they broke up a while ago, maybe last summer. This LRC thread talks about it a little, there used to be a lot of photos of them together on their Instagrams, but they were all deleted at some point around then.

He's starting to get a bit of a reputation for fleeing the scene of the crime. His decisions or Matt Senior's?

That is such a ridiculous comment.
The equation is 'dopers are liars and cheats' --> 'these people are great people and would never lie' ergo 'these people cant be dopers'
That's what we are expected to believe with all these foolish statements.
Rather than take them at face value and science as science, now we got a lab theory of the case and professional runners and coachs that dont even know about PEDs
Read all about it in the new NYT bestseller:
"IF I DID IT" by S Houlihan
I have a new name for this news: "burrito gate".
You can get tren from steak, as we've seen before on multiple occasions, but also from pork, and no, you do not know what is in your burrito until it is eaten because, just to review, a burrito is food wrapped in a tortilla and closed up. The key is that if we are talking about mere trace results from eating restaurant food in all these cases, they're all bogus and should be exonerated, not costing them multiple Olympics and World Championships, and I say that as someone who initially suspected this square-jawed marvel of an athlete, who had a sprint finish like I'd never seen in a women's 1500m before.

Seriously? If you know that she ate a carne asada burrito but you state that she ate a pig offal burrito, then you lied.
You are absolutely nit picking here. Silly
Technically Carne Asada can just be any grilled meat, even pork, although it's usually flank or skirt steak. When it comes to pork or beef, the cheapest is processed bull or boar after they are rotated out of the breed stock (encourage genetic diversity). So it's not out of the realm of possibility that it could have been an uncastrated boar meat burrito grilled to perfection - especially since it came from a food cart.
It's laughable all these posters lamenting the opinion of the Gault piece "as losing all journalistic integrity".
That being said, it is highly hypocritical of LRC to witch hunt NOP but defend BTC. I think Rojo's still steaming from Rupp escaping Scot-free.
I am with the minority of posters who don't have enough information yet to cast stones but I am leaning towards the ban being appropriate even though I'm a big fan of SH and BTC. Not sure how they have never heard of nandrolone.
I am also of the opinion that our sport's drug testing system is broken.
Thanks for your words reasonable person

They believe that she ordered the carne asada burrito but accidentally received a pig offal burrito and ended up eating that one. Why is this so hard to understand?
You don't test positive for anabolic steroids because you ate a burrito. That's total nonsense.

This certainly feels like they googled the previous cases and were planning on going to down the tainted beef route and then realized there is no way to tie nandrolone to beef and switched to pork…
A lot of very manicured information and the CAS report is light on details, so i hope the AIU releases their findings,
Bawd on the information sounds a lot like she was micro-dosing for some reason and got caught.
Except no one like Shelby would microdose with oral nandrolone...

If it is what information do you have to the contrary?

That's not all they have to believe for the story to explain the test result. They also have to believe that the meat came from a noncastrated pig; castrated pigs don't produce nandrolone. This is a problem, because noncastrated pig tastes so bad it's not grown for human consumption in the US. That's why most pigs on farms in the US are castrated.
In other words, the whole they-screwed-up-the-order is just the tip of the iceberg. Unless the meat in the screwed up order came from a noncastrated pig, it can't help Houlihan.
Nothing adds up to paint a complete picture here.
Let's say she's a doper. They already affirmed that the nandrolone wasn't injected as it wasn't detected later as such. The other route is oral, which everyone agrees is a stupid way to take it, and largely non detectable after an hour.
Let's say she's clean. The story they're giving is that a burrito that was allegedly carne asada was tainted with enough pig offal from a specific type of pig to trigger these levels. I've eaten a lot of food cart burritos, getting meat mixed isn't uncommon, but for that amount of coincidences to occur one after another.....
I keep thinking about a third option -- SH truly believes she is clean but someone has been popping nandro into her food or drink without her knowing. If done at the right times, it should be undetectable during the testing window. Oops, a few drops too many, now she's caught and the best excuse is a food truck. And why is an olympic athlete with the best nutrition guidance on earth eating from a food truck (or restaurant for that matter).
Nothing makes sense here.

Why not?
Again, where are people seeing that the lab admitted anything about injections? Seriously - is everyone just taking BTC's word for this? We haven't heard from the lab, right? If not, pretty irresponsible for Gault / Letsrun to take thiood or howen acting 100% certain the positive result came from mea
Highly doubt the lab said anything with regard to how she got the positive result and that it wasn't through injection. That is not their job - they report results. Not play sleuth on why its positive. Sounds more like a lawyer saying that. The more stuff I hear the more convinced I am that she is guilty - wrong food order, its was greasy so it could be pork, wasn't sure what I ate - wait I think itwas a pork burrito, convinced though that whatever it is I ate caused this false positive, JS claiming he never heard of this drug, all sounds beyond fishy. It sounds like a desperate CYA story because you got caught and never thought you would. And now playing actress trying to convince everyone shes clean.
