LOL. This made my day. More Americans hopefully to follow. Richardson is of course just a matter of time like most of your previous sprinters.

BTW: I eat a pound of either beef, pork, boar, or elk five days a week. I eat burritos and tacos from taco trucks located not 90 miles from Mexico. I eat tacos and burritos in Tijuana.
Test me. You'll find weed in my bloodstream, DHEA, and a few other OTC vitamins.
Prove to me someone tested positive from eating "tainted meat" and I'll pay you $500. Shelby is a cheating doping idiot.
When will the CAS report be available? Assuming soon since they had a press conference today.
Her appearance very much reminds me of the Russian 800m runner that got banned for roids in 2012.

What? So you're argument is "i'd test postitive, but she shouldn't. DHEA is banned out of competition
Totally conflicted now. Not crazy about the video statement. It felt kind of stiff and sterile, where you would expect to feel at least a little sadness when you see someone starting to cry and reading their statement. Didn't feel anything. She did appear to be reading the statement, so that might partly explain this. I said before she seems like a very unique and different type of person so maybe she processes emotions differently and the lack of feeling while watching her speak doesn't mean much. I'm now leaning a little against this, though.
On the other hand, if you're microdosing for an extended period, wouldn't there be some residue in the hair? And per her statement there was none. It doesn't seem like she would lie about that since it would be so easy for the press to confirm/refute. Maybe we'll get more on this from the experts.
The more I have read and seen, the less of a firm opinion I have. I hope she's clean.

We kind of suspected something was slightly fishy. Her meteoric rise in the last year of her college year. Her buffed body and chiseled chin got amplified after turning pro. If she is truly doping, was it the money, fame, or just not wanting to get a real job? How much money is it really there for one to dope to win? I didn't think not that much in T&F. I certainly wouldn't think it's a joy to do it. But if I am got paid like A-Rod, heck I would do it in a heartbeat.
my family has amazon women who are as strong as the men, but they are also curvy, beauty.
the following profile is not an amazon woman.
images are tell tale.

the changes in the skull over recent years.
that analysis finishes my analysis.
NIKE needs to hold her coaches accountable. They need to be let go unless there is clear evidence the testing process is flawed.
Me too. I'm waffling. I would feel more clear if this were USADA rejecting her appeal. I'm looking up pictures of her when young. Hasn't she always looked kind of defined for a high schooler runner with a muscular neck? I would like journalists to test some rando, cheap American pork with some pork liver cooked into it.

ya, and Jamaica chicks mon. botswana mon.
PED 101
typical profile woman PED queen
run 11.5 late teens early 20's
then jump to 10.8
physical profile before and after = shoulders, jaw skull, beard, voice, whole look,
= male.
that's why pros can tell so easily.
Watching her finish at Doha convinced me she was on rocket fuel.
But all those in front of her were also on it.
What will happen to her contract? Will Nike pay her legal fees for an appeal?
That's all well and good if you are coaching at the college or high school level. But when you are coaching world-class athletes whose career can be destroyed by a single positive test it is just pure negligence to be uniformed.
No one said the coach has to be the expert. But BTC is a business so I would assume they would have an expert consultant on retainer that is up to date on the rules and substances of drug testing. Someone that could advise their top athletes about what/what not to eat and how to stay clean. Just as a business hires an expert for payroll, a software app, legal advice, or any other critical function requiring specialized knowledge.
For those who think she's guilty or others who are willing to entertain the possibility, how do you think she went about obtaining the drugs? Who supplied them to her? Would she have sought them out (from whom?), or do you think someone approached her (and again, who)? I'm curious about how this would have actually gone down logistically. For the sake of the argument, let's assume Jerry and Shalane were completely out of the loop.
athing mu, she's not on my radar for PEDs.
though this year i'm more a fan than cop.
i could be wrong.
but i am so happy for now we have a great woman athlete with fine spirit that isn't stinking of obvious fakery.
i love watching a great stride, and the grace. the niche sport, some kind of pure sport thing.
you know, running
That's the thing. PEDs leave a signature that anyone who has seen PED fueled athletes over the years can recognize. Everyone can tell who the major cheaters are. They just won't admit it.
interesting post from reddit

From Shelby’s post: ““We concluded that the most likely explanation was a burrito purchased and consumed approximately 10 hours before that drug test from an authentic Mexican food truck that serves pig offal”
This reads like a very carefully crafted statement intended to make the reader assume Shelby consumed an offal (organ meat) burrito. But it doesn’t say that. Instead, “a burrito was consumed from a food truck that serves offal” - the burrito in question could have been veggie, chicken, pulled pork, or anything else.
I feel like if she ate an offal burrito she would have just said that plainly.
Same with Jerry’s statement: “…less than 12 hours after she ate at a Mexican food truck that served pig organ meat.”
Again, saying that the food truck SERVED organ meat, not that Shelby ate organ meat.

There are doctors who can hook people up with these drugs with perfectly legal prescriptions. They are usually anti-aging doctors, but it is also possible that a town as big as Portland with the number of world-class athletes that are located there has a few that help athletes specifically.
