Huh??? Nico Young??? Newbury Park just had 4 kids (none of whom are seniors) run under 9:00 for 3200m, never happened in history. 2 of the ran 8:43.
Nico went to Northern Arizona, Yeah California has talent, but they used to keep the talent in California, now the top High School Distance runners go out of state, lets see where the Newbury Park kids go, 2 of them are Nico Youngs brothers so maybe they follow him to Northern Arizona, The top Californian Distance runners used to stay in state, Ralph Serna UCI, Jon Butler and Eric Reynolds and many more went to UCLA, UCLA was so good back then Steve Scott wanted to go to UCLA, but Coach Jim Bush told him he would never make the team, Steve Scott said can I walk on and workout with them and if I improve run in the meets? and Bush said no, so Steve Scott went to UCI. That is one awesome team if they wont let Steve Scott a 1:51 half miler walk on, Note Steve Scott eventually ran a faster 1500 and Mile then any kid on that team.
