Pretty much terrible. Time for Team USA to ditch Ralph Lauren.
I'm no fashionista but this is really bad haha particularly the white pants and that belt
Can't wait to get one for my pre-race procedures when they go for sale after the Tokyo Games finally get cancelled.
Why do they need a separate uniform for the closing ceremony? What a complete waste of time.
Gotta love that preppy yacht club look. Guess we don't expect have any people of color on the olympic team this year.

So people of color don't belong to yacht clubs? That's pretty racist of you to think that way.

How does a uniform imply no people of color? RL gear is worn by all kinds of people; many of which are people of different ethnicities, backgrounds, nationalities. Anyways, why is America so drawn to turn almost anything into an argumentative situation?
I thought the uniforms look very classy and would buy one if they become available to fans.
They look fine. Especially for the stated purpose. Of all the wacky ethnic outfits and poorly thought out costumes that will no doubt be on display, these are Perfectly Fine.
People will complain about anything.

They won't be on display, because the games will be cancelled.

It says they are made in the USA.
Probably because I believe it was the 2016 uniforms that were trashed on social media for not being made in the USA.
Now, who know if the materials used are actually made in the USA (probably not), but at least the final product is assembled in the USA.

Wow.
I see lots of subtle racism on this sight but I guess someone finally decided to jump the shark to blatant racism.
Should have just gone with the old Nike pinwheel jacket (entire windsuit) for the retro look. All the schools once had them:
They're really cool. That commercial was cringy.
No bad compared to some of the stuff they made them wear in the past. It is kind of odd that Polo/Ralph Lauren is always the one that does the clothing for closing ceremonies and not an company that actually makes athletic wear.
RL paid a lot for opening and closing. I assume the apparel for opening will be different. And then medal is usually different as well. (Nike). They usually do something not totally mainstream, but these actually aren't too bad.
It's an interesting business. I used to work for a USOC licensee (much smaller $). The athletes could wear our garment for opening/closing ceremonies and other appearances. Though the major sponsor was rightfully more prevalent.

We should pool money via gofundme to buy the JoBros each a matching set to wear for podcasts and to event press conferences and interviews.
Like these are any better:
