Pretty amazing the depth these days. I just saw that byu had 13:24, 13:24, 13:26, 13:53, 13:54, 14:10, and 14:12 tonight in Eugene. That’s really incredible as well.

Add an 8:47, 8:60, 8:57, 8:59 steeple and 3:39, 3:42 1500 tonight.

Now add two sub 28:30 guys to the list, including Stanford's top distance guy Hicks:

And Notre Dame had two guys open at 13:44/13:45 that didn’t make their NCAA xc team. Teams at the top have crazy depth.

Sorry to once again bring this up —— but this depth is so incredibly crazy, not just here but all over. Either the new shoes are insanely altering things( including practice/ recovery). —-or the normal cross country season is so damaging to many track wise that anyone committed to running fast on the track should consider skipping it .

Cook the aid or cook the shoes. Take your pick.

Doesn't BYU have like 35 men on the x-c roster, plus free tuition for Mormons?

Depth will lead to depth of performance.

Tuition is rather cheap for members, but it is not free

Looking at the results, imagine having 2x 27:58 guys on a team...just crazy to think about.
