The better question is why would they not have mustaches?

Anyone know how much time Young made up on Kiptoo over the last 2k?

the way mantz' shorts were u could basically see his dick!!!
You could tell Mantz was going balls to the wall because his balls were hanging out the whole race.
The man is PACKING

Mantz is clearly a marathon guy long term (he said as much).
What is Nico Young? 5K/10K guy? Or is the marathon his future as well?
I want to see Mantz in a marathon asap. He looks very uncomfortable early on in races - watching that over the course of a marathon would be incredibly entertaining...imagine seeing him up front at Boston with that look at the 10k, but hanging on and grinding up the Newton hills with the lead pack. He'd be an instant fan favorite.
Nico is still so young, but his form reminds me a bit of Farah. I think it all depends on whether or not he can develop an international level kick...though admittedly, I don't know what he has for closing speed right now.
Methner going All-American as ND’s 6th man is wild. What a race by those guys, but unfortunately they had to go up against one of the best teams of all time at NAU. Great race

Alex Masai bit off way more than he can chew, just like every championship he’s been to. Great time trial guy though, he’s just got no fight in him.
Wildschutt is the real deal. Really wish he had pulled off the win, but Mantz is just an animal.
Nico Young’s ceiling is out of this world. I’m so excited to see what this next decade has in store for him.
He ran an all out 5k two days before...

Fixed
Crazy both NAU and Notre Dame put there entire top 5 in the top 40 for all-american finishes.
Heck there two team scores added together would barely loose to Oklahoma
Top frosh + AA when everyone said she's past it.
Even I'm impressed.
Love ND's pack running and that Nuguse choosing the team over individual track accolades.
Is Nico's 4th the highest by an American Frosh since Ritz (who also finished 4th)?
Bad year for Colorado
Aww nice to see some happy people.
Nico with a nose breathing strip, fulfilling his role as the Rupp successor

^^This^^. Huge balls on show - literally and figuratively speaking. Respect.
imagine ranking ND 9th, couldn't be me
Isai Rodriguez was 4 in 2018. Huge props to the ND boys. Someone needs to ask Sean Carlson what they're doing in South Bend.

Impressive but we need to remember “4 in the top 10” this season is not the same as previous seasons. Guys like Teare and Hocker who ran indoors would very likely have been top 10 and knocked some of those NAU guys out.
Not to take anything away from Teare & Hocker but maybe they would have knocked out some of the NAU guys and maybe they wouldn't have. XC is a different game. We can play the "what if game" all day. Grijalva was a bit under the weather, didn't have his best race, and was still top 10. Bosley wasn't at his best.
Absolutely incredible run by ND. I'm impressed.

I think so. When he crossed the line the first thing on my mind was 'just like Ritz.' Not bad footsteps to follow in.
Is this course typical of Oklahoma? It looks like they're running in the desert, all dry, the grass is dried out and brown, I didn't expect it would look like this.
Where did Evert Silva finish
Emma Coburn to miss Olympic Trials after breaking ankle in Suzhou
