Maybe. 6s differential indicates elite speed endurance. That does not always translate to the marathon.
These are the guys who have a chance at the marathon if they are going to be national class. This is your Billy Rodgers or Dick Beardsley if one is looking at a best case scenario. These runners will never break 13 minutes. Of course few do.
