Twitter just removed a Christian organization for saying a transgender woman is actually a man . Cancel culture is alive and well, and it is perpetrated by thin-skinned who want to silence actual scientific facts - like men cannot be women - because they need to be kept safe from opinions that they don't like.
Pfffffttt...if every star who emotionally or verbally abused someone in their life was canceled, the world would be a much better place...
That accusation is probably true. Most of his songs are negative, toxic and vulgar. Are you surprised that he can be abusive in person? I remember, he used to 'date' Stoya, you know the famous pornstar? I believe that he had encounters with some other chicks of the porn industry, as well. Don't bother for him, bother for the people who are wrongly accused. Manson is not misunderstood. Not a few times, after all, he has exposed his inner world with his over- abusive lyrics. You don't have to wonder about him. Sometimes, people are exactly as they seem to be.
I used to listen 'This is the New S..hit' and 'The Beautiful People' and thought that these songs were amusing. Now i can't listen to them anymore and i don't miss them.

The key problem with cancel culture is that it allows mob justice to quash due process. It's nearly impossible to decide whether Marilyn Manson deserves this or not, since we're operating based on rumors. Obviously his record label can do what they want. My issue is that lots of businesses are caving into the mob, and this is terrible for all people because it creates an environment where rumors and smear campaigns are just as likely to take down the innocent as the guilty.

OK....so lets tell the OP to pick a legit cancel culture example instead of someone who probably deserves everything headed his way.

I don't see any issue with #1, #2, or #3. I was good with Lincoln until I learned about the genocide he greenlit, which was omitted from history books as a matter of policy. Being shunned or losing opportunities because you make a social faux pas isn't anything new. You had a blind spot that a significant and increasing segment of polite company won't tolerate. Now it's society at large informing that response rather than snooty aristocrats and social matrons. You don't have a problem with mob decisions, just that it's not a mob you happen to aspire to or look up to.
Gary Dotson was found guilty and spent a lot of time in prison, and it was later proved he did not do it.
It amazes me that there are people who defend people like Marilyn Manson and...Donald Trump. It's almost surreal. Cancel culture my as.s. They cancelled themselves first with their their behaviour and with their lifestyle. People shouldn't identify with sociopaths like Manson and Trump. There is evidence that proves what creepos both of them are. These people by the way don't need your support. They have their dirty connections that can help them pull through. Don't worry about them.
You give people evidence againt these people and still they don't want to believe it. They prefer eating sh..it. Perhaps, they feel more comfortable this way? What a bizarre way to feel nice. Cancel culture? It doesn't mean what you think it means.
So, two women that were in relationships with him state that they did not have those experiences with him. Using backward logic, I now believe that he is innocent and there is no longer any need for the allegations to be proven in a court of law. Isn't this fun?

Tell me that you are trolling please, because your logic is shockingly defective.
Two women said that they had no problem with Manson and that makes him automatically innocent? Zero logic. It's like saying that someone who wasn't abusive to you, can't be abusive to someone else. Most abusive people can be abusive only when they have the opportunity. Not all people give them that opportunity. Manson was abusive only when he felt he could get away with it.
Ok, Evan.
SPD clearly said “backward logic”. Meaning that just because someone doesn’t come home everyday after work and kick their dog doesn’t mean they don’t kick their dog sometimes.
Manson was probably hesitant to abuse Dita Von Teese. She’s about his age and not 20 years younger. She also looks like a demonic clown in the photo with him. And maybe she was accepting of his antics while the others felt abused and trapped. The only ones who know for sure are those who were with him.
What is abuse to some women was probably a bizarre role playing fantasy to others. There is nothing normal about manson and the women he dated.
You did well and corrected me. We can all learn from our mistakes, we shouldn't act as if they didn't happen. I can give you the satisfaction that i felt embarrassed when i read it. However, i won't apologize to StevePrefon. His reaction to my comment was an one-word reply and he sounded like a jerk.

Probably a disgusting freak (surprise, surprise) but it's a rum world in which a man can have his life ruined by one Tweet or Instagram post, by a woman who stands to financially gain from it.

Yeah they should definitely give Manson just like a $201.93 dollar civil fine if anything.

And not soon enough! Seriously, when was the last time MM put out a hit record? Over 20 years ago? I had no idea anyone still wanted to pay him money to make music in 2021. The label execs and their lawyers have to be thanking their lucky stars for this situation.
Who cares? The fact that he produced alot of good songs is good enough.
What do you want him to do? Put out one multi-dysprosium song every 7 months? Your logic makes zero sense.
Manson could just say that without actual video proof of the allegations then the females have basically like no evidence.

Not to go into victim blaming mode. These women must be incredibly stupid. What could go wrong if you hang out with a grown man whose stage name sounds like a maniac cult leader’s wife and who also wears demon clown makeup whenever he is seen in public. Anyone with any sense wouldn’t hang out with Manson. The dude looks like a freaking psycho.
Who cares? And yeah pretty sure you just made fun of clowns. I'm pretty sure you're being a bully to clowns right now. Why do you have to be such a bully to clowns?
Time has not been kind to 90's pop culture icons.

All of his songs are really good.
You just made a false statement.
