For some reason the Pegasus 37 shield feels a lot better than the standard version.
Peg 37 isn’t great, but it’s far better than the Zoom Fly 3.

Another vote for the Nike React Infinity. Weird fit, extreme rocker ride, and heavy/clunky. Needed another set of eyelets to lock the fit around the ankle (I used a knife to cut some). Plastic digs into the arch. The ride is awful. React foam is heavy and making all their shoes heavier than comparable brands making max cushioned shoes. Nike has been so focused on the midsole foams that the quality of their uppers has been suffering for a few years. They’ve been removing rubber/waffle sole, probably trying to lighten the shoes cause of the React foam- the shoes are losing their responsiveness and bad grip. Obsessing over innovation has resulted in overpriced, uncomfortable garbage. They need to ditch the React foam and get back to making comfortable, affordable shoes for the masses.

I love the New Balance Beacons and want to continue using it for my faster road training, but I want something with a little more cushion for easy miles on roads. I think I'm going to keep looking.
NB More?
NB 5280 we’re brutal even for a track race
Other than that all shoes were most un2020 like and actually quite enjoyable
Nike Peg 37 are the most confortable shoes I've ever run in
My worst shoe purchase of the year : Nike ZoomX Vaporfly Next %
I actually enjoy the zoom fly 3 a decent bit. It’s essentially a far worse version of the four percent in my mind and it really shines for long workouts on the track. I found them for 80 bucks at the outlet. I will say though the peg turbo 2 can be used for the same thing and feels much better, but overall I didn’t mind the zoom fly 3.

+1 on the ASICS Gel Cumulus. Stiff and heavy, felt like I was running in cement.
Another +1.
I've run in Cumulus since the early 2000's but something changed recently and they feel way too firm.
I ditched the Cumulus for the Ghost and it is nirvana.
New balance Fresh Foam More for me. They were clunky, stiff, and the cushion did not feel that great.
Agreed on the Nike Infinity Run, weird wide mid-foot and tight upper, stiff heel counter, clunky.
I'm still loving my Kigers and Epic React FK'2 they have more than 1000km on them each
These have the perfect amount of react foam and it's incredibly durable.
Seems they tried to capture the Hoka market and started using too much React foam and the shoes started to feel clunky. Where are the more 'minimal' shoes Nike used to make?
Or they need to make a lighter gas-infused version of React
Ditto the Rincon. So tight! Painful. Kept thinking it would break in / loosen up a bit. It did not.

I got some Adidas Boston shoes and they're too tight and stupid.
Incredible review. Have you ever considered doing something similar to this for a living after high school?

High School?!? You're kidding right?
Oh yeah they were called the Adizero Boston 8s. They s--- c--- and I never wear them.
After High School I might start a YouTube to make funny workout videos but that's a huge "might".
I want to be like Matt London.
Yea. Zoom Fly 3 sucks. Same for the flyknit version. How tf do ppl even run in them?
So the mods changed my thread title and then put a mistake in it?? Rojo is drinking.
Zoom Fly 3, no doubt. The plate worked against the react foam to make it feel like I was running against my own energy. My feet hurt so bad afterwards, but that happens with a lot of Nikes. Also the Kinvaras. It looks like Saucony has ruined the line again.
Saucony Peregrine Trail. Turned ankle three times in them, one serious. Switched to Salomon. Love Saucony road shoes. Their trail shoes are awful.
