not sure how they're gonna organize the meet now, south orange county is on fire and most of the oc/la area is covered in smoke. currently 150+ aqi throughout and it'll be worse later today and tomorrow. unfortunate, but new plans need to be made for this meet.

btw: pulling for my guy robert brandt to break through in the 10k. dude is fit right now and might be able to shock more people - not necessarily a win, but relative competitiveness throughout in a deep field.

Where UC Irvine? Or do they not want people to know due to not wanting fans because of COVID?

Probably been asked a bunch before, but when is the window for OT qualifier times? Are marks at these meets eligible for OT qualifiers?

Also, are they eligible for Olympic Standards?

Meet currently planned for San Juan Capistrano. Smoke from new wildfire is a big problem - but also new stay at home order a major risk. wont be surprised if it gets shut down or moved to San Diego area.

How far is that from LA?

maybe on the way back from an injury or illness (didnt BTC cancel attendance at a meet previously because someone had covid?), and so just working his way back? Would make sense I guess not to him in a higher heat so he can judge how he feels?
