We are not interested in you, we are interested in you claiming that things written in context about Imogen Stewart are lies. It seems you have some kind of hate agenda again a 15 year old girl, why is that?
I have done no such thing. You are locked into the victim-rescuer-persecutor dynamic.
Below is a 6 year ago thread that was recently bumped, so you should be able to find in on the 1st or 2nd page:
10-Year Old Sets Age Group WR With A 5:01 Mile ... What Happens To This Kid? LetsRun.com
Although I did not post on that thread, the comments are similar to those made about Imogen.
If she is fully recovered via her time off, she will progress to around 8:40-45 for 3K when 17.
Imogen is close to Mary Cain's time, but how she got to be so fast when so young is the topic, especially since Cain also ran elite 800m and 1600m.
Time will tell us that story, won't it my friend.
She might become the next burn-out or she might become the female version of Jakob Ingerbritsen.
Or she might get a nice free ride to one of your fancy American colleges (on the back of her over-trained junior results) and become a successful doctor like her parents and live in a big house, drive a luxury car and laugh at all the so called successful senior athletes who have "made it" only to get their arses kicked by the Africans and are continually struggling because free shoes ain't gonna pay the rent!
Of course the comments are similar...... as you lot are all the same - ARM CHAIR critics. Probably just fat and lazy or just plain JEALOUS....!
I'd much rather be a has-been than a never-been. You go girl!!!!!!!!!!!!
My son trains with Imogen. So I know first hand what she does and as other said, she did have an injury, but that wasn't the reason she was not racing. She was 14 going on 15 and her parents, both very sensible people let her have a break. Expect great things from her in the future.

Can Imogen beat your son in races?
He is also 15, so not any more, but he has only run 9.09 for a 3k this year. So she is one up on him in regards to a 3000m time.
