Yes there is a reason. The players themselves want the money. The average NFL guy has a very short career. If I told you, you have five years in your life that you will make$500,000 a year and the rest you will make $25 an hour, you can bet I'd want to play as well. One year of work is the equivalent of 10 for them. To see that cancelled, because they might get Covid and if they do get they have a roughly 1/10,000 chance of dying from it is kind of crazy right?
I love how we now it's our right to tell everyone else how to live - particularly now that there is a vaccine on the horizon. If you want to go out and risk it, that's on you. If you are worried, stay home for 4 months until you can get vaccinated.
