This is a pretty crazy statement, counting them down as if you know who is doping? Yikes? Shame on you.

He definitely is.
After I watched the documentaries "Icarus" and "Bigger Stronger Faster*" there is little doubt left, taking PEDs is a necessary step to joining the elite circles. The NOP is located in the US so even though I believe eventually they will caught for cheating, I don't think that they are cheating on the same level that other programs in the third world can cheat.
Hmm, indeed, overwhelming accusations, thank you for saying it, accusations, assumptions, maybe, I think, I heard, I feel. The deduction skills are obvious, there is no evidence, assuming multiple so called premises to come to conclusion without a documented fact.
The USADA has thrown its best at trying to get a shred of evidence to go against, sorry nothing. The "leaked" PR stunt they did was just that, a baseless PR stunt in a feeble attempt to think that the public sentiment would convict without any real factual evidence.
The rules are very defined, the testing mechanism when executed properly works.
Bro, not a very good argument on your assumed behalf.
Agree
Calling Rojo racist allows him to ignore other points -for example, there are runners who he praises in other groups also used Dr. Brown. He even praises people who were with NOP for years who complain now but also say they did not cheat, Stick to that stuff, Rojo never has a response. He allows lots of racist stuff on his site but that is to keep clicks and he may be OK with it. It does not relate to his view of NOP

Ok, Rojo - So just so we get this straight so we can all get on your bully train and click your ads like sheep : If Shalane wins a major she is as pure as snow, but if Jordan gets 3rd in a major she's dirty. If Galen wins, he's dirty. But if Meb wins he's clean. Do we have that right? If Simpson wins medal = good, if Rowbury medals = bad....
In all seriousness, the hypocrisy from you personally, and your racist and misogynistic website, and the other jealous American distance runners is stunning and in full display day after day. Shame on Desi as well. What bitterness and hate in her soul....
Shalane owes an apology to Hasay.
So let me understand this. You call me racist (which means I hate minorities) yet you also say that I love the African born Meb over the US born Galen Rupp?
Hmm. Interesting.
And we are misogynistic yet have a splash page up for Shalane?
Real good post.
why are people calling him racist for hating on Rupp?

White is a race.

Could not agree more - after Hasay’s great run (faster than Shalane ever ran...) all she could do was question a great performance. Came across as petty and insecure. Still , congrats on here win today, and yes, it is classy for Hasay to respond. Even though Shalane couldn’t...
In my opinion, Hasay's response was very calculated in order to trick guys like you into thinking "Wow, what a class act."

I'm just a little confused, because it seems like if Shalane, Meb and Simpson demonstrate they can be world beaters, than why can't NOP runners be world beaters?
Shalane must be something really special. She can win a major and beats all of the other women who are on drugs.

well said!
Not sure about Rojo ever showing any racism here...in fact I give the brojos full cred in actually bringing the East African runners into the limelight and making us understand their stories--this is key to growing our sport and I am thankful for it.....but I agree with the rest of this post. The hypocrisy about the NOP folks is insane. This guilty by association stuff is crap too. Wasn't Jager fingered by WADA as a likely doper? But Schumacher's group never takes sh#t. They have athletes that make jumps that seem out of this world (like Mo Ahmed's or Emily I's progress right after injury), but no one questions that. Just hard work, right? So if Jenkins or Rupp (after years of uninterrupted and crazy hard training) run well--they are junkies? Give me a break.
It all starts when they were chosen as teenagers and they see which ones respond well to it. People are sick.

Yes - Shalane may have won today, but I don't really give her 'credit' because she clearly bested a Keitany who was running on 'less than a full tank.' I'd give her more credit if she won NY with a fast time. Instead, she really benefited from Keitany holding everyone back with SUPER SLOW PACE until late in the race.
But I bet you loved Rupp's Chicago win.
Keitany wasn't forcing everyone in the field to run slow. They chose to do so.
But why does that matter? Flanagan's last 10k was incredible.
Flanagan hit 20 miles at 1:54:39
Flanagan hit the finish in 2:26:53. So Shalane's last 10k+ 8 meters was 32:14. That's hilly as hell.
Hasay's 10k pb on a perfectly flat track is 31:39.
But ypou probably think I hate Hasay? False. I predicted she'd beat Desi in Boston and was 100% on that prediction.
Now, do I think there's a higher percentage change that Hasay is doping than Desi? Yes, I do.
In terms of most suspicious to least suspicious, I'dd go. Rupp, Hasay, Jager, Flanagan, Linden.
By your logic, I should be ashameda s I said Linden might be doping. I'd bet my life she's not but I start with the assumption that everyone but myself might be dirty and work from there. So if someone honestly responds to a question, "I don't know what to think about the NOP" given the fact that former team members have expressed reservations, their is a USADA investigation etc, there should be no outrage. It's common sense.
How on earth can you make projections about Jordan Hasay being a doper. Grade school logic. Locker room banter.

But Hasay has improved a lot from her 31:39. With her 2:20 and 1:07, she clearly is capable of sub-31 10k.
As for likelihood of doping, with all the scrutiny NOP is under, if anything, they should be less likely to be doping or able to dope and the investigation thus far seems to be leading nowhere, based on the "innocent until guilty" principle, NOPer should be just as clean as the rest of the runners you mentioned.
The Rojo bros are businessmen, They keep the controversy coming no matter what they lie about. They"ll take down Shalane, Hasay, Rupp, Centro, etc. no matter what at all costs. I don't know how they sleep at night. Geezus!
Come on Letsrun, and all you idiotic followers, tell me Shalane is clean? I would like to see an explanation from these owners as to why they think Flanagan is clean and Hasay is dirty. Please explain.
Because she has the personality of a brick wall

Really people? Shalane has had a long career and came up with an amazing win in a race that hasn't been won by an american in 40 years.
Isn't the most logical explanation about the reaction to Shalane's win is that it's a win and she's been in the game a lot longer than Jordan and everyone wants to see hard work pay off?
Sometimes this board makes me sad.
Jordan is better.
