As much as I like and rate Shalan Flanagan, I also like that Hasay hasn’t got any bad feelings against Shalane. SF is one of the greatest American distance runners of All time

She has been overtly nasty and unsportsmanlike throughout her career, going back to her days at UNC; especially when it comes to her fellow US runners.

I'm always happy to see an American at the top of the podium, but I have never been a fan of her attitude.

Does anybody remember the quote from a BTC interview where they (Jager? maybe others?) talk about Shalane being the most hardcore person in the group?

Shalane has recenty shown less class than Jordan has on any given day of the week. Also - if not doping by Shalane - then who is watching whether Nike paid Keitany and others to bag the race for Shalane? It sure looked like the Black Sox out there today. Shalane could not have asked for a more perfect opening 1/2 marathon pace.

Sometimes people have good races (Flanagan), and sometimes others don't (Keitany). Why can't you just accept that?
