Princeton grad, he won't the 10K at the 2015 Heptagonal Championships capping an amazing year where Princeton swept the Ivies for cross country, indoor track and field, and outdoors.
Don't pace the rest of the group when you're feeling that good. Save everything for the final surge.
Debatable, and easy to second guess. But when the one runner went down, she did not get caught up in it. Also, there had to be some spray from runners in front, so maybe she didn't want to have that water splashing up on her all day.
Once again Rojo complaining about the commentators. Every runner wants running to be mainstream and then all they do when it is on mainstream TV they complain on the commentators when it's on mainstream TV. You are a joke, you make mistakes when you're reporting things. Be happy it's on TV and get over the fact that some of the commentators don't have strong running backgrounds and make mistakes.
Fauble never has and never will be in the mix to win unlike Bates and Seidel. Dude doesn’t have it in him to take a chance
He knows his limits, he ain't stupid like Albertson and Mantz. He slowly but surely took them apart and got 1st American.
One of the many reasons America sucks at marathoning. They would rather see somebody go out with the lead pack and die like an idiot than somebody run a smart race and finish higher. "gO PrE derrrr"
Obiri's talent doesn't give a phuc what you think of her form.
Oh uh the OAC clan is busy downvoting and making nasty remarks
You mean like the downvotes on your comment? That’s what they do. Sit around together eating spaghettio’s and synthroid and stalk Let’s run to protect their prophet and clan

He'd probably like better splits (1:03:59/1:05:45), but that compares pretty favorably to his compatriots who were in front of him at the half or near him at the finish. (1:02:20/1:08:05, 1:02:20/1:08:13, 1:03:59/1:06:18).
It's pretty dumb to suggest, as some folks have, that a guy who pretty clearly knows his redline and best racing tactic should blow past it just so we can all give him props for "taking a chance."
Kipchoge is far from done given he just ran the world record last year. But we should start expecting more defeats than wins in the tail end of his 20-year career.
Sara Hall for 17th as a master, in a time that would've been widely celebrated a decade ago. I'll best Desi and Shalane are happy for the wins they were gifted.
