What does this do to Kipchoge's legacy?

He's not out of shape.
1) He set the WR in his last race.
2) He led the entire first half into the wind.
3) It's hilly.
4) The last marathon he lost was in similar conditions - rain - although he's won in the rain in other races (2016 Olympics, 2017 Berlin for example)
Mantz better get the job done.
They need to show the women in the split screen instead of Kipchoge.

Nothing? Marathons are hard and unpredictable
Nothing. A twenty one year elite career👏👏

Headlines will be crazy if Mantz beat Kipchoge. “American tops greatest marathoner ever” I can see it now
Only if you are a complete idiot. Mantz isn't even in the same class. One race doesn't mean anything. Even less to most Americans
Didn't think I'd see Mantz coming up behind Kipchoge..
Adidas
Adidas
Adidas
Who would finish first at Boston: Valby or Tuohy??

Yeah, just heard the commentators confirm what I thought happened, bummer. Crazy how missing one bottle can change so much, maybe he had it, we'll never know.

I don't recall his record on hilly courses? Boston aint a fast course. Is this figuring in?

Kinda reminds me of NXN this year with the Young twins cratering
What pace are the women running? What mile are they in? That's a huge pack.

Prediction: Kipchoge will learn from this, make adjustments and win New York.
I was among this 1% who predicted Geay to win in LRC poll. Looks like it might actually happen.

I think he missed a bottle, the commentators said something along the lines of "he decided not take a bottle" but in reality I don't think any elite athlete would not take calories with that much race left
I thought they said he tried for it but couldn't get it. No Hans or Franz here.
He did miss a bottle before getting dropped but it doesn't look like it fell, he reached out, pulled back his hand and there was nothing in it, strange...

Rojo learn to read. He said "Father Time waits for no one."
