Its absolutely true, at least in a local sense. Everyone in massachusetts whos not working is tuned in, and most of them couldnt name a single runner

1:02:19 at the half is good. Kipchoge just waiting to start ramping it up. The problem is he is dictating the pace and even now it's slowly burning people off. Will be interesting to see when he take over.
I told everyone to get ready for a SUPER fast 16th mile and we got it. 4:23!! It's broken up the field. Now down to 7 in the lead pack. Now remember that mile is like 107 feet downhill so it aids you about 20 seconds.
It is crazy that he felt like he needed to go out with that pack. He's probably at 2:06 guy on a fast course, but that doesn't get you much in 2023, forcing dudes like him to go with fast dudes.
