Looks like Derek busted a triathlete for cheating during a race, and then posted her rant.
This just rubs me the wrong way and I'm starting to feel like Derek's a RCH away from being sued.

Sued for what? Truth is generally an absolute defense to defamation.
I wish Murphy would just concentrate on his racing. I'd love to see him dip under 1:43 again.
I'll have to read it. I'm disappointed he said there may have been time irregularities at Boston, but there was no follow-up. Boston's the main event, why no follow-up at least to say, "ok, there were no time irregularities, it was the weather".
Wow, that Anita Carcone teacher lady from Arizona who apparently cheated at the San Diego International Triathalon is crazy. She really went off the deep end after getting caught.
What’s even more sad is that Anita Carcone is not smart enough to realize that the Internet doesn’t forget. The next time she applies for a job, especially if she’s a teacher where character matters and is considered, the HR department will do a standard Internet search and find all this compelling evidence that she cheated at the San Diego International Triathalon and then went psycho and threatened and blamed her accusers. What a piece of work.

I thought this was person who busted her:

It’s all fun and games until Derek gets two behind the ear.

I haven't heard "RCH" used since my Vietnam era Navy days. Pretty sure it's not PC anymore, if it ever was.

I work in HR and that's not part of my background checks.

I do a fair amount of carpentry as a hobby and it's used a lot.

If you're in hiring, then you're in the minority. Something like 80% of companies screen applicants by searching their social media accounts and or Googling their name. In many cases, what they find influences hiring decisions.

Yeah, that’s why you’ve heard about those thousands and thousands of women not being hired because their topless beer bong photos were uncovered.
Great work, Derek and the anonymous Buster, you are doing God's work.
Keep exposing 'em.

I've posted on that. There were issues relating to mis-reads due to weather - submerged mats and people layering over their bibs. Large variances in actual times vs. predicted times. Generally those times have been adjusted. There wasn't mass cheating at Boston.
I believe I posted this before, but I feel it is more productive to focus on the qualifiers for Boston '19 at this point to prevent the cheaters from ever running Boston. The conditions, lack of photos, and the fact that many of those that cheated in qualifiers were busted before Boston means there are less of the more obvious cheats to catch.

Sued for what, the cheater's stupidity???
Keep rolling on, Derek, you are doing God's work. Now if you could just do something about the people who intentionally start in the wrong corral...
Derek- Keep up the great work on the site, appreciate what you've done so far. One request, can you please get rid of the awful javascript(?) that takes over the mouse scrolling on your site, it's horrible UX
Those who can, run
Those who can't, tri
Those who still can't, cheat

Lol. You set a low bar for that term.

This. So much this.
I'm all for exposing cheats but provoking a crazy woman on social media and sharing the results is an unnecessary, low class act that serves no purpose other than self promotion.
