Can't believe he has his kids take pics of him while he's lifting. What a dope.

You sir are a moran. A 370 lb dead lift is equivalent to a sub 7 mile. Not very impressive, even more so for someone who has been lifting for years. Does a 370lb DL require a little work? Sure. Could most people who train regularly hit it? Yup! For a one max rep without a belt and perfect form I was able to hit 415lb weighing only a 180lbs
Let us know when he hits 495+
Exogenous testosterone works folks.

His garage is still a huge mess.

Lol you absolutely do not need T for a 370 lbs deadlift. I really only start to get suspicious when people are benching > 225 lbs for reps and pulling more than mid 400s or 500. But even then a lot of guys are clean.

How is that 370 lb?

Many people who train can't actually deadlift a lot it seems. Our resident self-proclaimed strength expert runningart(Alan) has a weaksauce deadlift and he's practically a midget.
Personally I did 445 at a bodyweight of 165 but I had to clear a lot of heavy stone from ploughed fields as a kid.

Was thinking the same thing but did the count. Bar is 45 lbs. On each side he has 2 45s, 1 35, 1 25, 1 10, and 1 2.5. Regardless, not sure why you’d post this online.
I can't believe this is the same guy I met at LA Marathon in 2014. He was skinny AF. He had just finished a one hour treadmill tempo run as a demonstration and was just cruising around the expo. Super nice guy but he did not look like this at all. Testosterone is a hell of a drug!
370 is nothing lol. A lot of guys can lift that right out of the box.

I don't know or care whether I might need test to lift 370, and Ryan may or may not need it, but it certainly is helping him.

Moran.
370lb deadlift is a joke. I did 515lbs at a bodyweight of 178 (only 5'8 tall). And this was nothing super impressive. That said he was a tremendous runner so not taking anything away from him there but a running forum trying to hype up a lifting accomplishment is about as ridiculous as bodybuilding.com praising guys for running 7 minute miles.
Good for him! He’s clearly enjoying taking on new athletic challenges.
It’s really nice to see.

True, this doesn't belong on letslift.com. If a former elite lifter finished a half marathon they could talk about how he is such a great all around athlete.
I'd put his lifting as an elite runner more in line with an elite lifter finishing a half marathon. If 50 year old Arnold raised his hands as he crossed the line sub 2:30 I'd be equally impressed.

Did you compete? 515 at 178 is elite level lifting (or very close to it).

An elite level at 178 is more like 580.
