When they dig these large canals connecting huge bodies of water, how do they stop the water from rushing in when the part they are digging gets close to the water? Do they start in the middle and then just reach a certain point on both ends and dynamite the final 200 meters or so, then stand back and watch a ridiculous amount of water come roaring in?
