So I always figured that for Mueller to really prove what actually happened in the Trump Tower meeting he needed someone in the room. When Manafort refused to plea I figured there was no solid way to prove what happened. Well now we have a Manafort plea and he’s cooperating with Mueller.

A plea deal doesn’t automatically mean full cooperation. The plea could be a strategy to keep certain facts out of the courts/public.
It’s very uncertain that he is cooperating with Mueller.
You are dead wrong about that. It's not uncertain at all. Go read the cooperation section of the plea deal.
In this particular plea deal, Manafort must cooperate fully and truthfully. He has to answer every question and tell everything he knows. He has to testify and cooperate with any court or prosecutor anywhere Mueller deems necessary.
If Manfort lies or withholds anything at all, the plea deal is broken and Manafort gets no break whatsoever on his sentencing.
In this deal, Manafort even waives his right to have counsel present unless given permission beforehand.
On top of everything else, if Manafort breaks this deal he STILL forfeits all the assets set forth (almost everything he owns).
I wouldn't hold out hope that Manafort will help Trump in any way. No matter what, Mueller owns him now.
