ROFLOL!!!!!
With Scaife as publisher, the small circulation newspaper was the chief packager of editorials and news columns claiming that then United States President Bill Clinton or his wife, then First Lady Hillary Clinton were responsible for the death of Deputy White House counsel Vince Foster. Scaife paid freelancer Christopher Ruddy to write about the Foster case for the Tribune-Review and other right-leaning media.[16] Special Prosecutor Ken Starr, appointed to investigate Clinton, concluded Foster had, in fact, committed suicide
I guess they are the original fake news? Is that what the kids are calling it?
Another guy that inherited his wealth was the one funding the American Spectator:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Mellon_ScaifeOk...so I see that some Trumpers today ARE feeling froggy. Ridiculous!
Trump is SO screwed.
Mueller is coming.
The clown is done.
Thanks for summarizing that Democrat crime spree.
What I'm talking about is when you are watching, and when it REALLY matters, when its something big, and when a conviction would actually change the political landscape, like when the IRS targeted Tea Parties and a big slapdown with multiple jail sentences was needed to keep that kind of abuse of power from happening again ... you will NEVER see justice. It hasn't happened in my lifetime and anyone expecting to see it will hope in vain.
The point is the FBI already knew what he had when they made the request to the judge. Dersh is losing it like Gary

If there is no hope then why do you post here? You have as much of swinging someone over to your side, as they have of swinging you over to their side -- no hope.

Someone on the Left could make the same claim about people on the Right.
I don't doubt it feels like that for you. Feelings aren't facts.

We have a judicial system such that, if law enforcement doesn't follow the law, there are consequences to their case.

Really? Like when Obama's Dept of Justice refused to prosecute the New Black Panthers for intimidating voters outside the voting booth because Attorney General Eric Holder didn't want to prosecute black people.
Law enforcement didn't follow it's own law. Where were the consequences?
There are so many examples like this, and I know, I KNOW liberals can't see their own hypocrisy. You can't see the double standards. You can't see the unfairness and injustice of it all. I get it.
I'm trying to explain to you that conservatives CAN see it. Trump supporters CAN see it. We can see that Obama went for 8 years with constant corruption and scandals happening, but with no serious investigations and no consequences. We can see that Hillary had her multi-billion dollar pay-for-play foundation running in broad daylight for years, with no serious investigation or consequences. All these exalted FBI investigators and embedded secret judges never saw the need to dig into any of that.
... and then to watch Trump get run out office because one of our hallowed "judges" has determined that Cohen's payment of $130,000 to Daniels was some kind of illegal campaign donation? ... or because of some perjury trap? I'm telling you the injustice of that will be a breaking point.
There should be reasonable Democrats warning everyone about this. I'm throwing the red flag here. If you win, you lose.
An independent team of attorneys - having no connection to Mueller investigation - will create what is called a "privilege log" from the seized documents. This document is used by attorneys on both sides to argue whether a document, or parts of a documents, qualify for attorney-client privilege. General objections, and blanket objections by the attorney(s) representing the attorney, or client, are not acceptable. The same holds true for the attorney(s) trying to claim something is not subject to attorney-client privilege. The legal bar for documents that are deemed waive attorney-client privilege is one of the highest there can be, So, while Tump wails away, he needs to realize that his broad-brush wail is absolutely worthless. And Trump needs to realize that proper attorney-client privilege documents will never see the light of day; Mueller will never see them as they are not part of his investigation, but other attorneys will see them and prosecute accordingly.
No one is running anyone out of office. While the deck is certainly stacked, and the Republicans are spineless........... Trump will prevail, like it or not. Despite the panty wearing liberals......oh sorry meant to say "snowflakes" desires otherwise.
Thanks for adding some technical detail but you should realize by now that this is a political persecution, not a legal proceeding. If rules applied, then the secret FISA court would not have used the fake Clinton dossier to surveil Trump's campaign, and the tainted FBI agents who conspired to take down Trump by feeding that dossier to the FISA court would have been grounds for throwing the whole thing out. The rules that you seem to think they need to follow do not apply here.
It is clear that this persecution will continue until Trump is out of office. That's not a good way to run a country.
Continuing to call it a persecution instead of an investigation doesn't make it true. Carry on.
Gary again bankrupt of any detail or evidence. Let me shed some light on the Cohen situation for you. My explanation won't be quite Barney style, but it will be simple enough.
1. Here is what Cohen has said:
- he made the $130k payment out of his own pocket
- he took out a home equity line of credit to make this payment
- he had no contact with Trump or Trump associates regarding such payment
- he had no expectation he would be paid back
- he didn't even believe Stormy, but made the payment just to protect his friend
- he made the payment 11 days before the election and set up the company 2 weeks before that, but that the timing of the payment was purely coincidental
2. You can believe that a) he is telling the truth, in which case only an investigation can save him given the above information which points to the opposite, or b) that he is lying, in which case either he, Trump or both committed at the least the crime of violating campaign financing regulation
3. Say you believe he's telling the truth and you think the raid was unlawful. Invoking attorney-client privilege over the confiscated communication documents is only valid if a) the crime-fraud exception isn't a factor, or b) there were actual attorney-client communications to begin with. If you believe Cohen then it's b) since those communications never took place so by default they are not privileged.
So which one is it? Do you believe Cohen or not? If you do, then take comfort that the raid was lawful since attorney-client privilege doesn't even apply. Or if you don't believe him then you surely must want to get to the truth. Either he is lying or Trump is lying. Since justice and truth are so important to you, then do not despair, they will get to the truth.
By the way, the bar for issuing a search warrant for an attorney is pretty high. You should be happy they did this, since Trump isn't at fault (or Cohen) then any unrelated evidence of wrong doing they find may be inadmissible later due to the manner by which it was obtained.
Gary, you should be celebrating!

Dersh is paid to defend Trump on Fox News. This is just like when he was paid to defend OJ and proclaim to everyone that he was innocent.
He will say whatever he is paid to say.

That was as far as needed to read to know you have no clue what you are talking about.
Understand this: There is nothing Trump can do about the document seizure. It is in the "wild" - meaning that it will be prosecuted regardless of Mueller, by attorneys other than Mueller. Trump cannot fire the entire southern legal district.
You are correct. Trump will prevail in this term and remain as the worse, lowest character POTUS of all time. And you support him only because you think his "presidency" enrages democrats. Pathetic angry old man you are
I'm sure he is. Interesting how the investigation is now centered on Trumps dalliance with Ms. Daniels. My how far we have come from a "Russian Collusion" investigation. Maybe she's really "Natasha", of Rocky and Bullwinkle fame. Boris must be close by.

Mueller > Dersh
Trump has only himself to blame for that. Due to his shady dealings and connections, this investigation has grown 100 new tentacles. I wont claim it's proportional, but that means they are 100 X more likely to find criminal activity. May they succeed with at least a few of them.
