I'm going into my sophomore year of high school this year and I'm more of a 800/1600 type runner so I mainly do cross to help my in track. This summer I experimented with running doubles and I liked them. But my question here is it better to get a 2-3 mile run in or an extra 45 minutes of sleep? Also how many of them should I do a week if you recommend them? I only did two a week in the summer. I'm looking to go sub 2 in the 800 this year so I'm trying to Build up a strong base.
