Nice reference.
Nice reference.
Most people like to read about themselves; vanity. It is a rare person who doesn't.
Of course he does. I don't think he'd deny he's an ego maniac...and those people have a desperate need to know what other people think about them.
Maybe if he wasn't a cheating arrogant punk he'd be more liked.
Sucks to be him

No. It sucks to be Styx or Journey.
I like Centro. He has a good sense of humor and does not take himself too seriously. He has a 1500m PR of 3:30.40, which is faster than 35% of this forum.
I think Centro might try some 3k and 5k races in the future. He has really good finishing speed that might cause the (sloppy) British runner Mo Farah to get a little bit worried.

True. He also makes more money than 24% and has a more attractive wife than 10%
SO 65% of this forum run faster than 3:30? Please respond. I find that hard to believe.

I thought about initially deleting this post but then thought about my own sports biases.
Sports is so interesting on who we like and dislike.
Some guys who are cocky I dislike- I take the approach above. Others like Centro I really like.
Tom Brady for some reason I really like. Can't stand the Mannings.
can anyone link the post he was referring to? thanks. couldn't find it with google.

Twitter is confusing. I didn't get "hush you up, those eyes" in another twitter related thread, and was glad it was explained.
Here's the explanation.
Look at his time:
http://www.sheltoninvite.com/lr/16611/160611F032.htmPretty bad, so someone starts this thread:
LRC thread:
http://www.letsrun.com/forum/flat_read.php?thread=7375135No idea who RealMerb is, but he said he ran 3:41... Centro tweeted to him.
"@TheRealMerb 3:41? You are DONE."
Pretty funny.
kyle merber
Hahaha nice job mocking letsrun trollers
Are you guys serious? You think that Centro saying that Merber "is done" is a reference to message board posts calling Centro done? Did the people on this message board coin the phrase? Hardly. Stop pretending that everyone gives a crap about what is said on this board.

Or maybe you're just mad because you're the one who created that thread. Dude, Centro is clearly not being serious with that remark.

I think you're the one who's missing the point...they both ran 3:41 recently making it absolutely a letsrun reference. Why are you so mad? Centro isn't just gonna go around and insult a fellow US miler for running the same time that he ran this past weekend. I think you're the one that's seriously missing the point.

Still BUTTHURT about your 'boys season? Just because a nearly crippled Peyton can pull off a SB win (while fancy-boy Romo sits on the sidelines with a backache) is no reason to be hateful/jealous.
I don't know whether Centro reads letsrun. However even if he doesn't read letsrun probably someone he knows does. It would be impossible to escape talking about letsrun if you are in the sport. Therefore, even without reading letsrun he probably knows the highlights of what is talked about here.
Pretty safe to assume that Merber does too since he understood the reference immediately.

what's the rationale for deleting that post at all when this board is filled with far worse filth minute by minute?
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
