a few questions.
4 weeks to build to 35 week? is that an awfully slow progression for a pro? was the quality already there in april? like, fewer long runs, but already some track stuff to get used to running fast? or were all the hard efforts still in the pool?
fewer than 6 weeks at 35+ to get her to 15:06? obviously, she was already a huge talent, and was probably better than 15:10 pre-injury. suggests all those folks who say you can get some pretty good aerobic development in the pool are probably close to the mark, no? makes me think of fleshman and her elliptigo--maybe she shoulda stuck to the pool.
finally,id be curious to know: are any college coaches are known to be very cross training heavy at any point during the year?
